SPOKEN WORD

Spoken Word is a creative embodied movement and expression of the stories that dances through me. Through the discipline of a strong writing practice of pen to paper, borne out pleasure and necessity to stay committed to the deepest soulful part of me, a body of work continues to grow filling pages like a delicious stream.

My words is best felt as I am spoken through as - this sound, this voice, this EXPRESSION.

I work with Spoken Word as a channel both written and free styling by tuning into the field in the moment and channeling words.

To write and to be spoken through is one of the greatest pleasures of my life. To sit down and let words flow through me, building a body of work puts me in the place of agency when it comes to creativity and expressing it in formats that feels authentic and the truest version of me. It changes the dynamic from being a consumer to producer, director, poet, mover, dancer and actor.

The power of the blank page is immense.

I believe if anyone has the ability to write and to speak - one must have a solid writing and speaking practice, so no matter what happens through Life - one knows their strength to stand up and for themselves in the written and spoken word authentically.
